Pleasant

Nice secluded place. Even if you rent one room you get the whole place by yourself. Host is kind and always available to help. They arranged two delicious dinners for an amazing price.

On the property (or better at the back) there are two people that work for the owner and they live there. Sometimes they will show up to do some upkeep. Place needs a renovation. Lots and lots of ants. Some are normal for Sri Lankan standards, but pieces of the house are being eaten alive by the ants. Also, I would have loved to have the bigger room as I paid for the whole villa. Instead I just got the regular room. Small details that make the difference. I booked the place to have full privacy and some chill time. Even if this was explained to the owner by a local friend the message did not completely went through with the owner being there sometimes the whole day and just regularly popping in to check how everything was going.

Lovely pool!

Lovely swimmingpool! Clean rooms. Good communication with owner. Owner is very friendly and very willing to help with everything, he even took a ride to town to get us pizza's.

The pool was ok Breakfast was ok but little portions AC and fans are good

1-the living room is open to the garden, you get insects, geckos and frogs as guests and you dont feel safe and always exposed. 2-we found a big cockroach inside the bathrom. 3-we got 5 geckos inside in a single day, a gecko entered the bedroom and we couldnt find it, my wife couldn't sleep. 4-the old guard appears suddenly inside the villa to switch off lights and stuff, the old man has no power outlet in his room so he uses the kitchen. 5-after checkout, host arranged a full day car trip for us and got his money, the driver dropped us in the location and refused to continue! 6- the other villa can see you inside the livingroom or the pool clearly. 7-survillance cameras and the wifi work together, so both on or off. 8-kitchen was really bad 9-towels and pillows smell weird.
