    We will definitely book again when we return, especially since we now know how to navig ate the area.
    I booked this Airbnb for the views, and it did not disappoint. The view from the porch and the surrounding walkways are breathtaking. Being in the city center is chaotic and only provides views when looking up. This lovely Villa allows you to see it all in a private peaceful atmosphere. Spending our evenings relaxing in the hot tub with wine and views at night was the highlight of our trip. Luigi was a great host and answered all of our many questions, his mother, who is a wonderfully sweet women, even did our laundry for us which was extremely helpful. One hill down from the Villa there is a lovely little square that is very secluded and not busy at all. There is a cocktail bar owned by a woman name Maria, who is just fantastic, this bar provides wonderful drinks and food on an outdoor patio overlooking the towns below. We spent every evening there after our bus ride before the steps back to Villa. (Bus stop is just past bar, down hill on the right) In this same square there are also two small markets where you can stock the Villa with water, wine and snacks, not to mention some of the best fruit we have ever had. You can also buy your bus tickets in these markets, cocktail bar or Gerrys pub.

    It can be a bit difficult to navigate at first if you are new to the area, everyone knows Amalfi is hills and steps so finding which hills and steps bring you where you need to go is its own adventure. Once we figured out the bus system is was much easier. Our only small issues with the property itself was no AC, but the fan provided was fine along with breeze from windows and the shower is not the best. It doesnt drain great and the water pressure was pretty low but that hardly put a damper on anything

    The facilities were exceptional and we had no issues with anything and Luigi offered his services if there was any issues.

    Amazing experience, the place is wonderful. Luigi, the owner, is truly a gentleman, friendly, very attentive, kind, and a romantic hahaha. He had gifts for us on our honeymoon. Highly recommended. The house has everything you could need!!

    Luigi was the nicest guy I met in Italy! He was so helpful and and went out of his way to help us! He told us all the places to go and eat.
    Its a 20 minute bus ride up the mountain, and then you have to walk steps, but the host Luigi was so kind and he helped us with our luggage! He even drove us in his car to get to the bus stop with our luggage!

    The villa is beautiful, recently renovated and well equipped. Close to Amalfi but far enough to get away from the crowds and noise. The views are spectacular! The host's were very welcoming and provided lots of information about the surrounding area.
    There is no air conditioning or fan so it can get quite hot

    We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return.
    The location is fabulous. Its close enough to Amalfi to be convenient (about a 25 minute bus ride) but is away from the tourist chaos. We really enjoyed the tranquility. There is a lovely little local community in Porgerola. The view from the terrace, overlooking the sea, the town and Ravello in the distance, is breathtaking. All of the communication before our arrival was with Luigi. He was very attentive and made sure that his lovely mother Anna Maria was there to meet us at the property and help us settle in. When they found out that it was our 25th wedding anniversary, they surprised us with a gift of delicious local pastries. They were really caring and reliable hosts, explained everything well and gave us local tips. Whilst we had to pay a little bit extra for parking, Luigi took good care of our car and when he returned it, both Anna Maria and Roberto, his father, came with him to farewell us. They are truly lovely hosts.

    All the features of the property and the view was breath taking. Luigi was the most amazing host and bent over backwards to accommodate us throughout our whole trip. We will defiantly be back!

    Sumptuous location and services guaranteed value for money
    The location is perfect for visiting the Amalfi coast, the village (Pogerola); is an oasis of peace to escape the hectic and over crowded beach resorts of Amalfi, Positano or Sorrento. The village has a number of excellent restaurants which offer panoramic sea views, Osteria Rispoli delivers exceptional value for money and cuisine. The accommodation facilitated all our needs and exceeded our expectations with respect to cost. Luigi is an exceptional host who can assist in organising facilities, transfers, local motor bike rental or boat trips if required. Most importantly he is an excellent communicator who can offer peace of mind with his knowledge.

    WiFi, and mobile coverage on the Amalfi coast does not equal UK standards. This issue I was advised can be annoying for a teenage tiktok addict! The solution a trip to Villa Cimbrone's garden.

    The villa is absolutely beautiful. We stayed there 4 nights and cant believe went that quick. We enjoyed every moment ( a glass of wine in the jacuzzi, a morning coffee with a brilliant view, dinners at local restaurants) and the most important our host who maid our stay just perfect( helped us with renting a boat,scooter, advice how to get transport, where to eat, what to visit, absolutely everything). Small advice if you travel to Amalfi: ask Luigi for advice how to get there quicker, cheaper and safer. The villa offered us a great time as a couple away from crowds and day to day routine so we could finally relax and enjoy every moment. Thanks Luigi for everything!!!
