Very good

We enjoyed our time at Walker Bay Manor Mansion, and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and a nice way to start the day. The location is very convenient (close to the cliff path and centre) and we also received useful advice from Marijke about things to do and restaurants to visit in Hermanus. Overall this was a very pleasant stay.

Great food, bellow par attitude

I liked the breakfast, it was so delicious and I could taste and see that a lot of effort and attention to detail went into the meals.

I did not like the attitude of the hostess. She was incredibly rude. When I was running late for my check in as I was driving quite a distance, she stated that she "wants to go have drinks with a friend" and expressed her frustration about me coming late. This was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Looking at other reviews this attitude is not exclusive to me. I hope this is corrected in future but I will not be returning to this establishment. I've stayed at many places throughout south africa and arriving later than stipulated for valid reasons has never been an issue or met with such a poor attitude.

Cozy Guesthouse with beautiful garden

The garden is very pretty and beautifully adorned with all sorts of flowers. Very pleasant to sit in and relax. Maryke is a amazing host, very friendly and goes out of her way to help. It's very well situated.

Can think of anything I didn't like.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Hermanus with a top notch host and staff!

We enjoyed staying at Walker Bay Manor Mansion. The location was perfect for exploring Hermanus and having quick access to the cliff path. The pool and garden was wonderful and we spent most of our afternoons relaxing in that area. Breakfast was also amazing and the staff was top notch.

We loved everything about our stay and would return again!

Very nice stay, would come again!

The host was great and gave us a lot of suggestions. Communication was easy. Breakfast was amazing. Location is great, right next to the shore and a beautiful cliff walk.

We stayed in the smallest room, which faced the garden where the breakfast was served, so you could hear people staring 8am. It did not bother us as we were waking up anyway, but if you want to sleep in get a different room.
