    Described as hotel but really just a B&B pretending to be a hotel with hotel prices. Avoid.
    Character building in secure private estate. Room / bathroom was a good size and breakfast staff were pleasant. Close to Spier for breakfast top up..
    Breakfast was not buffet. Typical breakfast was of poor quality and low quantity - 1 strawberry (cut in half), 1 slice of melon and most days 1 blueberry (yes 1!) plus poor quality yogurt, cheap muesli or cheap bun and 1 slice of toast. We were charged extra for water! Latest breakfast time was 9.30am everyday including weekends and Christmas Day! No iron in room so we had to pay for ironing after landing from UK. Small swimming pool. Overall a complete lack of interest in our wellbeing by disrespectful host.

    A secure place to stay for one night in order to visit the wineries at Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
    Secure and homelike, and Close enough to the wineries. Big room with big bathroom.
    The smell of the carpet was not nice, smelt like old cheese. Being kept up from 4am with sounds of animals on the roof - not the best rest.

    Stunning country house located in a private estate. Lovely original architecture with a very homely feel. Very large bedroom and bathroom, and well located within Stellenbosch.

    Not the kind of place to spend the day at, no meals, Green pool etc. Perfect to sleep over, but then not cheap just for
    Not much, although breakfast was great!
    GreenSwimming Pool No back up electricity when there are outages, could not make coffee in room in early morning No DSTV No mini fridge in bedroom to keep refreshments cold No nearby Restuarants as no meals other than breakfast

    Room and bathroom = very spacious Aircons work Guest House is in a secur e and closed complex so you feel quite safe

    Beautiful property, hopefully then can clean the pool.
    The room was beyond expectation, very spacious well decorated and all new. Minor detail there was no smart tv and the channels were not working. The location is great, very quiet and safe just a 5 minute drive from Stellenbosch.
    We were looking forward using the pool but it was very dirty and absolutely not usable.

    The heating in the suite was not working properly and could not turn on the under floor eating

    A good value, pleasant stay in the country.
    Location ideal with it being within easy reach of Stellenbosch (By Car) Hosts were exceptional, very attentive and always helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
    The pool was un-clean and unsuitable for bathing. This simply needed a good clean !

    A peaceful getaway
    What a lovely, relaxing getaway. Comfortable room with a great view. The location was good - a peaceful area. The breakfast was delicious. We sat outside in the courtyard (so happy Brydon could help get the door open) and it was just perfect. Thank you for a beautiful stay!
