    Could not have been better.
    A really lovely place , the suite we had was excellent,could not have asked for more. Very friendly staff, the breakfast was excellent .We have stayed here numerous times, never been disappointed. If you want a lovely stay in Winchelsea this is the place. Times have been hard for these establishments so we need to support them. . The suites have all been refurbished. To a very high standard.

    Fabulous stay in a beautiful location.
    Fantastic bar/restaurant. Great ambience and excellent food. The accommodation is really comfortable. We can't wait to return!

    very disappointing ending of a pleasant famlly trip, apparently not fit for international standards
    Food at the restaurant, serving staff friendly
    Room much smaller than shown in pictures, beds still had smoker's smell, very low waterpressure for shower and handwash, people smoking and talking straight outside our room make sleeping difficult, did not accept cash payment by 50 pound notes from last year's trip, alternative card payment failed - although enough money was in bank and card had been used elsewhere.

    Lovely staff, lovely food, clean room
    Quiet and very clean.
    The room was on the ground floor and the walls were raw brick like the outside. This really freaked me out, I know some people will like that look but it really got me. Felt too much like being outside.

    Lee, Violet seem to head the team and make you welcome and relaxed the bar restaurant are lovely and food is great.
    The shower room needed some new flooring and the waste from the shower leaks onto the floor, and the pillows were hard.
