Lovely, homely guesthouse in excellent location, with a friendly host

Windway House was a lovely guesthouse, very conveniently located to Killarneys Main Street. The road was quiet, lined in trees but yet you were so near everything. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. Although breakfast isnt available as stated, you have full use of dining room with fridge, cutlery, tea, coffee etc so you could bring cereal, yogurts etc for the morning. I must mention how friendly and helpful the host Frank was. He recommended some lovely restaurants nearby. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Windway House and look forward to returning

We were kicked out of this b and b in the middle of the night. We were two girls and forced to sleep in our car. We did not get any warning before being forced out of the property and no contact has been made to us by the property for a refund as we did not stay in the room.

Check in times at 4pm. Seems to be the norm in the area and to be fair I didn't ask if it was possible to check in earlier.

Great homey little motel.

The staff was super friendly and funny. Made you feel like you were visiting family. The name is a little deceiving. It's a small motel, but everything you need for a couple days in Killarney.. nice common areas with seating and refrigeration you can use. Etc.

The key system could be updated.

Overall good place to stay. Like being with our own family.

They did not provide breakfast, but they have room to eat, and Refrigerator to keep your food or drink. For me that's not big issue, we bought our own breakfast food. Room is ok, the bed is very comfortable, just the shower and the bedroom is small and took a while to get the water pressure to be hot. Location is ok. The owner Mr. Frank is very nice and helpful. He did extra for us, took us to the bus station when the taxi driver did not show up/late. We always have a nice chat about things. Ireland, family and our country. Just feel like at home.

The water pressure could be improved.
