Daniel's Trip to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore

5 /5

(Written on 14 Mar, 2025)

What's Good: The tour company fulfilled , what was promised. Mr Ankush communicated everything clear clearly prior to our travel. Our first destination was Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. On Atrival (Read More) one Mr. Murali contacted us and directed us to Stay where in the airport to be picked up. He came on time and took us for a city tour. He is a very knowledgeable person who took time to explain a lot about Malaysia,s history,, demographics, economy, administration etc. Stay in Malaysia was well coordinated by the Malaysia coordinator. Arrival to Singapore was a different experience. Mr. Raj directed us every step of the way for every thing from pick up ,drop off , tickets for shows and also helped us by providing valuable information every now and then.for the sightseeing and shows. Overall it was a tremendous experience traveling with the help of grand himalaya tours which I would recommend to anyone who wish to tour Malaysia and Singapore. Accommodation was also good considering the price paid.
What's Not Good: I can not think of anything negative about the tour at this time. I and my wife are very satisfied of the performance provided by GHT. Thanks to the support team from the bottom of my heart.

Shubham's Trip to Singapore

4 /5

(Written on 25 Jan, 2025)

What's Good: All things are managed quite good.
What's Not Good: The clear communication about few things is not provided. In Malaysia, there were 2 attraction to be visited in a day (Read More) namely Batu caves and Genting Highland. For Batu caves, there is temple on the top, so we want to go there. But they allowed only 20 min photoshoot at ground. This was not communicated during package itinerary. They simple mentioned Batu caves so everyone thought all are included. For Genting Highland, the theme park tickets are not included, and they have not mentioned that in itinerary. Again misunderstanding happened. It's not about the ticket inclusion, but they should have informed us before hand on this. We would have taken call, we want to visit the places are not if things are not there.

Why to Buy Tour Packages to Singapore?

High Cost of Living: Singapore is known for its high cost of living, which can be a challenge for budget-conscious travelers. Tour packages often include pre-arranged accommodations and some meals, helping to manage expenses and providing a clearer budget for the trip.

Strict Local Laws: Singapore has strict laws and regulations that tourists may not be familiar with. Tour packages often come with experienced guides who can provide insights into local customs and ensure that travelers adhere to the country's rules, avoiding any inadvertent legal complications.

Language Barrier: While English is widely spoken, Singapore has a diverse population with multiple languages spoken in various ethnic neighborhoods. Tour packages often include guides who are fluent in multiple languages, ensuring effective communication and reducing language-related challenges.

Navigating Public Transportation: While Singapore's public transportation system is efficient, navigating it might be a challenge for first-time visitors. Tour packages often include pre-arranged transportation for group activities, reducing the stress of figuring out public transport routes and schedules.

Weather Variability: Singapore's weather can be unpredictable, with sudden rain showers and high humidity. Tour packages typically take weather conditions into account when planning outdoor activities, ensuring that travelers are well-prepared and can adapt to changing weather.

Crowded Tourist Attractions: Popular attractions in Singapore, such as Universal Studios and Gardens by the Bay, can get crowded, leading to long queues. Tour packages often include skip-the-line privileges or timed entry, allowing travelers to make the most of their time without spending excessive periods waiting.

Cultural Sensitivity: Singapore is a multicultural society with diverse customs. Tour packages may include cultural insights and guidelines to help travelers navigate and respect local customs, minimizing the risk of unintentional cultural faux pas.

Limited Space in Accommodations: Due to the limited land area in Singapore, hotel rooms might be smaller compared to those in other destinations. Tour packages often select accommodations with comfort in mind, ensuring that travelers have a pleasant stay despite space constraints.

Health Considerations: The tropical climate in Singapore can be challenging for some travelers, especially if they are not accustomed to high humidity. Tour packages may include tips on staying hydrated and planning activities to avoid the peak heat of the day.

Time Management: Trying to see all that Singapore has to offer in a limited time can be overwhelming. Tour packages often come with well-planned itineraries, ensuring that travelers can experience the highlights of Singapore without feeling rushed or missing out on key attractions.

For the shopaholic, the ideal time to visit Singapore is between July and August which is when the Great Singapore Sale is organised.

How to Reach Singapore

The best way to travel to Singapore from India is by flight. The classy Changi Airport of Singapore is well connected to India through regular flights from various cities. Some of the major airlines that connect the two countries include Singapore Airlines, Air India, Tiger Airways, Jet Airways and Air India Express. The journey is 6-8 hours long depending upon the number of halts in between.

Ideal Duration for Singapore Trip

The ideal duration for a trip to Singapore can vary depending on your interests and the experiences you want to enjoy in the city. Here are some recommended durations for different types of trips to Singapore:

Standard Trip (4 to 5 Days): For a more comprehensive experience, plan a 4 to 5-day trip to Singapore. This allows you to explore the attractions mentioned above in more detail, visit cultural neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little India, and indulge in world-class dining.

Family Vacation (5 to 7 Days): If you're traveling with family, especially with children, a 5 to 7-day trip provides ample time to explore family-friendly attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, the Singapore Zoo, and the S.E.A. Aquarium.
