Got potential... just needs a bit of work to meet it

Lots of potential, good location, super helpful staff and munt jac deer in the fields...

Lovely hotel with a lot of potential, but it needs a little tlc to help it meet expectations. Walls had cracks floor tile in bathroom was loose... and it was missing a bit of atmosphere... Our bedrokm went from freezing in arrival (no heating) to absokutely boiling when we returned... Ans the bar and restaurant was just kacking a bit of finess / atmosphere... It was fine as an overnight bolt hole, but a bit disappointing as I had felt I was going to get a bit more luxury than I did...

Superb

Lovely place, great service, would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending.

We were only there for about 16 hours, but the service was great and breakfast was served at the exact minute we'd requested! Room was HUGE with all the facilities you'd need and expect, as well as a separate office area which would be great if you had work to do. My 6 year old son said it was the best night's sleep he'd had, so you can't ask for more than that!

Very good

We woukd definitely return but to a quiet room!

We enjoyed a fantastic stay apart from constant traffic noise throughout tge night which kept us awake. Such a pity because the room was fab.

Sound proofing needs to be addressed. It was also difficult to find due to poor lighting and signage

Lovely hotel

Food was lovely. Staff very nice. The room was absolutely huge with a tv and all things you would need to stay there. Very very clean. Would recommend.

The room being duck themed was a little strange. The restaurant area is very dated. Not sure how easy it would have been to check in after hours

The bed was very small, and not very comfortable. The bathroom was very small and the towel rail very hot. The hair dryer did not work.

Couldnt have been any better, would definitely stay again

Beautiful lodge in gorgeous setting. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean, great nights sleep followed by a delicious breakfast.
