Guests had a very good stay at Cley Hall, with a warm welcome and detailed information provided upon arrival. The comfortable, spacious rooms were well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The loca (Read More)tion by the riverside was perfect for a stroll. The lounge bar offered a variety of drinks and the nearby restaurant was recommended. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. Guests praised the polite, helpful staff and mentioned they would definitely return.

Went for my brothers wake with other family members,looked after us well with sumptuous rooms and great staff.

Rooms were spacious and good could do with updating,shuts down early at night but they were on the verge of shutting down for Xmas.

What a great friendly hotel! Would stay again

The staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. The bed was better than mine at home so comfy. Hotel was great I highly recommend it. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the whole day. I would stay again.

Comfortable overnight stay in interesting building close to points of interest in Spalding.

It is a very interesting building with a long history. I knew the room I had booked was a small double almost in the basement with no view, so that was okay as it was for one night only. When I arrived mid evening all the hotel parking had been taken up so I had to park in the public car park a little way down the street, but the receptionist had warned me about this, so that was okay too. The lock on the door to room 21 did not seem very appropriate - I was not convinced it had locked but I think it probably had. The bathroom was very good and clean. The breakfast was excellent - well laid out and with helpful efficient staff. Overall a very satisfactory overnight stay.

Parking was a bit of an issue - more because although it was free overnight in the nearby public car park, I realised I would have to be there by 08:00 hours the next morning to pay for the next few hours. The instability of the lock to room 21 did bother me slightly as I was alone.

The property is very deceiving as it doesnt look great from the outside but when you go in the building its very nice
