Albergo Luna di Marzo offers amazing views of the ocean and the Cinque Terre natural park. The rooms are good with air conditioning and are serviced daily. The staff is helpful and provides detailed (Read More)information about the area. The hotel is located on a hill, providing privacy and quietness. It is a great base to explore the nearby villages and there is regular bus service to Manarola. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The rooms are clean but slightly outdated. Overall, it is a comfortable and convenient place to stay with an excellent breakfast.

Stunning location away from the Manarola madness.

The view! Sitting on the terrace up in Volastra was the Cinque Terre dream come true. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful (set you up nicely for a day of hiking). Two restaurants and a small shop were handy but with some planning (and do book!) dinner down in Manarola doable. Just dont miss the bus, its a long walk up!) I would recommend fully for a great stay away from the crowds.

Excellent value and an exceptionally memorable location.

Spectacular location perfect for hiking to Manarola and Corniglia. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a huge treat and very generous. We unfortunately arrived very late at night and it was challenging to find the location. We were grateful the staff waited to check us in. The language barrier between us and the staff was challenging but we managed. They sometimes seemed gruff and did not offer much assistance in navigating the area. But overall, it was a terrific location with a breathtaking view!

Staff could be more engaging and helpful. Instructions of dos and donts in English would mean less reprimanding for them

A good place to stay

The hotel has an excellent location and has an amazing view, you can reach Manarola in 10 minutes by bus or in 30 minutes by walking (an adventure that require some skills). They offer a good breakfast and the room cleaning is excellent.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable (our room had a thin mat over the mattress).
