Had a nice feel about it. Continental breakfast was good. Healthy options on offer accompanied by naughty little pastries and muffins. Delicious! Pleasant eating area for breakfast with indoor/outdoor options.

Rooms are quite small. Balconies also, space for one chair only. Halls were very stuffy and warm. Very noisy during nights with music from clubs across the road, however property had supplied complimentary ear plugs in the room which was a welcome find! Roof top area is nice but no shade.

Great place to stay for a getaway long weekend.

There were usb charging ports and well positioned electrical points in the room, which was really helpful. The location was fantastic being in the centre of Northbridge. Everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was really good.

I thought the Alex Hotel was really good value for money and the location was brilliant. I didn't have anything to complain about.

Disappointing

It was clean

No bottled water or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Only craft beer for sale. Lift broke and was out of action at least 14 hours. Could be more but not sure as we checked out

Great for NY Eve but other, better value for money options

The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were exceptionally clean! Staff were efficient and friendly. Great location for NY Eve.

Lift was broken so had to carry bags downstairs. No fridge or chair in room. Overpriced for what was offered, not competitive. $200 bond is excessive in comparison to other hotels and in relation to cost of stay/facilities offered. No room service available, yet part of advertising. Were advised on arrival that there is never room service available on a Sunday., but could order Uber Eats.

Boutique hotel in a great location

Boutique hotel in a great location (perfect for New Year's Eve) with friendly staff. We also enjoyed hiring the bikes (no charge) and cycling the city.

The air conditioner was a little noisy.
