Our room had been changed 3 times on the booking sheet before we got there. The first room we were offered was in the lower basement area and I had booked a room with large windows and a view/ I was told they were full booked. Then they gave us another room we went to it and it still had guests luggage in it. Then we were given another room not of the same quality and with a tiny bathroom. It was so hot we had to have the window open and there were machines working all night. We could barely get into the bathroom and to turn the taps on in the bath was extremely difficult as you had to get into the bath to turn them on. Quite ridiculous and not helpful as I had put my back out and just wanted a bath and a good night sleep. Overall a not very good experience. If you cannot get the basics right you have no right to charge such prices and promote the hotel at that level. It ruined our London experience. We were so tired the next day we went home instead of having a day in London. I reported it in the morning when I was asked how our experience had been and the girl said why did you not tell me. I reminded her she told me the hotel was fully booked so what could she have done. I did however say I expected a manager to call and discuss the matter and no one has bothered. There is a common theme. I still expect a call.
