It didnt feel like I paid for 5 star hotel , terrible hospitality. I was extremely disappointed. They behave like they are doing favor to you.
Paid for premium room which was worst than standard rooms that is their lowest category.
Breakfast place was disgusting to a level that I cant describe, in front of me the lady behind counter cleaning the over flowed coffee cup that she is serving me with her dirty hand and handing it over to me I just left it and left the place.
I have attached some photos that we have been given a room that was not cleaned before giving it to us, they dont bother to take you to the room nor they have clue about anything
I forgot to take photo no shampoo holder , all shampoo , conditioner & body wash left on the floor in shower area
Grouts in bathrooms full of germ that u feel disgusted walking there barefoot forget about taking shower there even after mentioning they have no clue how to clean it
Carpets are so dirty in the room that u cant remove your shoes
Im big fan of anantara hotels but this is one of the worst , this is my 4th time staying in this hotel within last one year and every time it just gets worse.

Hotel and staff are excellent
Hard to get to hotel. When we arrived by train the taxi cab cost 65 Euros a the hotel is only about a mile or less. Taxi driver said only a few ways into central Amsterdam because of traffic.

In my opinion, it's way too pricy for the disappointment...
The location was excellent, and the front desk staff are great. I didn't stay too long so I can't comment further.
I had booked 2 separate rooms for 2 nights. The rooms had a window facing the other rooms in the rear, and I booked rooms facing the square. To be able to sit at the bar, you have to wait to be seated. The bar staff was too busy trying to impress the other guest with his drink mixes that he never offered if I needed service. After sitting there for about 10 minutes I decided to go to the bar around the corner where I meat some great group of servers

Staff didnt seem to think 3 young men dressed casually shouldnt be in the hotel and followed us to the lift asking if they can help us when we were just trying to go to our rooms

Decor was classy , great rooms ,
Friendly staff , bar was fabulous and food was good too .
There was a noisy bar club going on outside till 2 am , quite noisy .
