Not recommended for a long stay, one-time visit is ok
Stunning and luxury architecture and atmosphere, live music on New Year Eve, large room and comfortable bed, spacious bathroom
Staff is absolutely unprofessional and didnt pay any attention to us as guests. They behaved like no one cares, this was unpleasant especially when we came for New Year celebration
Also there is a lot of misleading from the staff: wrong information about available tables for dinner at restaurant and at the lobby
The room itself was so hot, felt like +30 and we didnt ask for that! Noise from the street was all night long, so we couldnt sleep even an hour
The food is so average
Breakfast was a total disaster from the staff side, not recommended
In total hotel is overrated and not for such price (we were in different 5-star hotels all over the world, the service should be on a completely another level)

Location is not super central but nothing major. But if you are on foot it might take a while to get to Buda.

Breakfast was amazingly good. Both the venue and the quality of food.
No major inconveniences, but too many small ones. Toilet paper holder in room is broken, hair in bathroom, cigarette butts in balcony from previous guest, non-original poor quality coffee capsules for nespresso machine in the room, etc.. Non of these are big deal individually, but when they come together it is kind of annoying. Not the same level as the Anantara in Southeast Asia.

The staff were very good and attentive. Gave good recommendations regarding restaurants.
The Bedroom needs better brighter lighting and the dark wood is outdated and looked cheap.
The breakfast was not exceptional both in quality and selection. If it was not for the decoration of the room which very opulent it would have be only ok.

Beautiful hotel and spa
One of the best hotels we have been too. Staff very helpful. Beautiful spa Including sauna, steam room and heated swimming pool and gym.
If you stay at the hotel you don't need to queue for hours for the New York cafe which was beautiful and good food. They upgraded us to one of the best rooms in the hotel.

BEST HIGH-END STAY IN BUDAPEST on a budget (compared to other 5* hotel prices)
Everything was perfect. The staff was lovely and helpful, the building itself is absolutely amazing, and the services, the room, it was all top-notch. I must add, that the bed was a dream, and super comfortable, and in the bathroom, they have products from my favorite brand, Acqua di Parma, so I was the happiest. And, I love the 6 pm show in the lobby with the bartender and the musicians.
I have nothing to complain about honestly.

The hotel and the rooms are amazing.
Service in the restaurants are not the best. And the food can be better. Since the atmosphere is so good, you dont really care. But still service and food in general can be better.
