    Beautiful but not the most comfortable.
    Beautiful Hotel up the hill. You can see the Kanchenjunga from your window. Based on decor, someone had grand plans for the hotel. There are many view points to have a cup of tea or enjoy your breakfast , a family meal or a couple's nook to see the grand mountains from and enjoy the view.
    Sadly, location is also the negative point. It is up the hill and most drivers give up as soon as they see the steep climb. My husband had a hard time climbing up every time we went out. While the walls and decor and design is up to the mark, the walls of rooms are literally paper thin. The family next to us was having drinks till late in night and we could hear everything they said. While the hotel is in a good area, due to the location, going out for meals is not convenient. If you want anything other than hotel food, your option is just delivery. The smiling staff and their fast service definitley makes up for most negatives. However, for this price, I honestly feel breakfast should be part of the deal.

    Good rooms. Good cleanliness and good views
    Staff not willing to accommodate at all. Not allowed to eat your food outside room. Did not accommodate our request of preponing checkout by one day. (We had to cut the trip short because of an emergency and informed the hotel before arriving. Still they did not accommodate) Location far from main places.

    Lovely place to stay in Darjeeling, will love to stay here again.
    Lovely place to stay. Warm courteous folks, clean rooms and views of the Kanchenjunga range to die for. Very tasty food too.
    The rooms arent the quietest so you can hear all the conversation from the adjoining room. Perhaps they were just loud talkers, but still.

    The staff was very sweet. The rooms were clean, spacious, and adequately lit. The view from the rooms is breathtaking (only when the sky is clear). The food was good, you don't have to go to the main center to eat if you are craving good food.
    There is not much to improve they are offering value for money with their property. The only challenges about this property are the steep road to reach the property and that the property is 2 to 3 km from the center, which in a way is also good as the center is very congested and polluted.
