Guests found the Avalon guest house in Inverness easily, with good parking. Room 6 had a very comfortable bed, ample storage, and a powerful shower. The owners were accommodating with late check-in a (Read More)nd provided a well-stocked continental breakfast. The room was cozy, well-appointed, and the stay was enjoyable. Guests would consider staying again at the guest house.

Top Drawer!!

This was a phenomenal B&B. Location, cleanliness, quality of the beds and rooms, breakfast and amenities were all 'top drawer'. The safe and secure parking was an added plus. Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Avalon B&B as the first choice to stay in Inverness.

Would recommend better non slip covering on the entrance ramps.

Exceptional, friendly and memorable hospitality.

Val and John are excellent hosts and they ensured that we didnt want for anything during our amazing, sublime and luxurious stay. This homely place is definitely a gem in Inverness as you certainly receive above 5 star hospitality at such a reasonable price. Cleanliness throughout all rooms is exceptional. The additional luxury of a sitting room adds to your comfort. Breakfast is outstanding - great selection, home cooked food which caters for all tastes. An absolute destination in Inverness - one we would not hesitate to return to, if we should travel to the Highlands again. Thank you Val and John for making our stay so memorable.

Relaxing night away in a gorgeous guesthouse

First time we have stayed in a guesthouse rather than a hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Better attention to detail than a hotel and a much more personal experience. Owners always made an effort to chat and make sure we had everything we needed. King room on top floor was gorgeous and had everything and more. Thank you again for your hospitality. My Mum made a good choice!

Pleasant stay

Room was lovely and clean and very tastefully decorated. Breakfast was lovely with good choices of continental and cooked food. Plenty parking space outside. Beautiful home which owners clearly put a lot of work into.

Just felt bit rushed in morning as breakfast was served between 8-9am, with last orders for cooked food by 8.45am, so really just had a 45 minute window in which we had to make ourselves available for breakfast.
