Avista Two Bedroom Suite with Balcony and Sea View

The property was located next to all amenities. 3 minutes walk to Karon beach. Many restaurants and shops around it.
The staff was lovely. Friendly and helpful.
The Chard Grill restaurant is bad. The burrata salad was bad. The cheese itself was tasteless, but it had the awful taste of the smoke which is part of serving the dish. No salad should be served like this. This kind of serving is for grilled food. The truffle pizza is probably the best dish on the menu, but it has too much cheese.
The rooms are old and need deep cleaning to look better. The pictures on booking are deceiving. There were many dirty spots in our room - on the door windows, the bathroom doors, the bathroom walls and on the counter behind the bed.
There was a note saying that on the day we checked in they had pest control, however we had a case bearing moth in the toilet.
All in all, no value for money as this hotel is expensive but does not offer a 5 star experience.

Well located hotel with outstanding service
- Room is fantastic with a nice green view.
- Bed is huge and very comfortable.
- Water pressure in the shower is excellent and hot water is perfect.
- Breakfast is outstanding - a lot of variety and food is good.
- Beach/Pool towels and flipflops are provided in the rooms.
- The Pearl Spa is impressive - had the promotion 2hour spa with a scrub, a massage and a facial and it was so relaxing.
- Service is excellent throughout the hotel (front desk, spa, restaurant etc). In particular Matt, the GRM, is absolutely lovely, warm and welcoming. Tina, the lady from GoVacation Tour who helps to book tours, is an amazing and friendly lady who provides great advice for anyone who wants to know more about Phuket.
- Location is good if you are looking to be close to amenities with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and 5min walk to the beach.

- Pillow a little too soft for me.
- Path leading from the hotel down to the main road is quite dark at night. Its a short walk but feels a bit unsafe.
- Im here during peak season so pool gets very crowded and often run out of sunbeds.
- unfortunately the only hotel in Thailand where Ive been bitten by mosquitoes a number of times (and Ive been spraying my repellant).

Amazing hotel and staff
Fabulous hotel, amazing staff and a very wonderful experience. Food was very good, breakfast was well stocked and had a great selection. We were well looked after every day by Trish - who also served delicious cocktails every evening on the roof top bar.
Our room was excellent, large, very comfortable and very clean. It had a lovely balcony and seaview from the 5th floor. Our room attendant was fantastic - Biw works very hard every day to keep the rooms clean and well stocked.
We loved this hotel. Everything about it was great - the swimming pool and the restaurants. We ate dinner in the main restaurant once and had a mix of Thai and Spanish food - lovely. We also ate with our "feet in swimming pool" at the beautiful grill restaurant. We enjoyed a great steak whilst watching the live fire dancers on Friday night.
Great location. Easy to walk into Kata beach or Karon beach. A nice massage place just outside - much quieter than the ones in town / great massage!
Highly recommended! Thank you. We shall definitely return if we ever come to Phuket again.

The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and even went the extra mile by surprising me with a birthday cake to celebrate my special day. Moreover, the breakfast is delicious, presenting a diverse selection of delectable food options. The room is spacious and offers a beautiful view of the mountains. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location places it right next to the stunning Karon Beach.
