    its good for its price
It was in a good zone, it was clean, they cleaned our room, it was safe, it was comfortable.
It was noisy and really cold. It would have been nice having thicker blankets.

If you are looking for a place that is not out of your budget and that is close to the downtown area of Mexico City, t
The place is located around the central area of CDMX, it is easy to arrived to and the people who assisted me during my stay were very friendly.
It is probably more advisable that if you arrive at night to that area it is by taxi or Uber

Worked as a place to crash for a few hours
I booked a room so we could get a few hours sleep after our red eye flight during an all day layover. The staff were friendly and allowed us (for a fee) to extend our checkout until we had to leave for the airport. The location is decently close to the Centre so we were able to spend a few hours exploring. The room was very clean.
The beds were extremely hard and the room was very small. No AC but the fan worked okay and it wasnt too hot out. I feel it was overpriced for what you get, but there werent many options and it was Christmas Eve.

    Disappointing
Unfriendly hotel which almost spoiled my holiday.
Hotel safe though slightly off city centre.
Unfriendly unhelpful staff;room very cold room at night;they did not want to store my luggage for the day on day of departure;they make everything difficult;very noisy during the night, people screaming all the time at any hour.

    Fair and central
The room was clean and quiet as the hotel as well. People who worked there were helpful and friendly. Location is central and well connected, we felt safe both in the day light and night. I recommend.
Theres nothing I didnt like, even thou the hotel is in front of an extreme busy street, our room overlooked the courtyard and it was extremely quiet! Location is central, although theres nothing around that gringos would expect like Colonia Roma / Condesa or whatever white fancy or hipster neighbourhood

    Good
A convenient and comfortable base for exploring the historic centre.
The size of room (on the second floor, more typical of a three star than a two star hotel); the room was fairly quiet, as it overlooked an internal courtyard rather than the noisy main street; the comfortable king-size bed; the desk, suitable for placing my laptop on; the small safe; quite attractive lighting; excellent wi-fi connectivity; hot water available at all times, and very good water pressure in the shower; the marble bathroom sink; the lift; coffee, orange juice, pastries and apples available in the foyer every morning, free of charge (but no milk or creamer provided); a relatively short walk (15 to 20 minutes) to the Zocalo, the huge square at the heart of the historic centre.
I didnt particularly like the frosted glass windows in my room, though I suppose they were fitted to prevent guests in rooms on the other side of the courtyard from being able to see into your room. The area surrounding the hotel, though perfectly safe, is very shabby and noisy, and I couldnt find any decent cafes or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, though there are plenty in Regina, three or four blocks away (though many of them play very loud music at night). The reception desk staff could be a bit more welcoming and friendly. I suggest that either milk or creamer should be provided in the foyer, as not everyone likes black coffee.

It surprised how good it was. It was super clean, very close to the city centre. Bed was comfortable. For few days it was a great stay
Walls are so thin.... The neighborhood around was not great to walk alone around

    Very poor
Constant noise and building shakes from traffic outside
They have a purified water machine and in the lobby they have some free refreshments, tables for games or to work on computer.
Hotel is next to a major road. The noise from traffic is non-stop as the windows/walls do not insulate against sound. Worst of all, every time a large truck goes by the floor and bed shake, feeling like there's an earthquake starting. Couldn't get any sleep here.
