    The Bear & Ragged Staff offers a brilliant experience with beautifully presented rooms and excellent facilities. Dinner lived up to the same excellent standard. Breakfast service was a bit slow due t (Read More)o a broken coffee machine, but the food was delicious. The pub has a great menu, good food, and lovely staff. The rooms have character and are spacious, with delicious dinner and breakfast options. The roast beef at lunch was tough but the staff were apologetic and keen to fix the issue.

    Amazing place to stay
    Amazing to stay in such a large family room but in such an old and historic building. Absolutely loved the Tudor features. Great pub and food. Loved it.

    Our bed was a bit small if I had realised Id have booked a bigger big option as 2 adults and a 4 year old were a squeeze , apart from that the room and facilities were wonderful and we were very happy with our stay

    Delightful stop just out of Oxford.
    Historic and wonderfully charming, yet modern, classy and clean. The staff here were particularly helpful in responding to and helping us with some dietary requirements, and the food was delicious. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
    Nothing to not like here, but be aware that the rooms, or at least the one we stayed in, are up a narrow circular stair so overnight bags are better than big suitcases.

    Location was absolutely stunning
    We stayed at the property for my wifes birthday and the staff could not have been anymore helpful. We booked a meal for 11 and the service was fantastic, the food was great and nothing was too much trouble. We also brought a birthday cake with us which the hotel was more than happy to store for us. They even supplied candles etc and brought the cake out at the end of the meal. So a big thanks to the manager and all his Staff
