    Underwhelmed - I wouldnt stay here again and cant work out why its rated so highly. Not awful, just not great
    Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean (once we were moved to a new one after the first one was damp and smelt too bad to stay in. The walls were wet). Gym facilities were good and never busy. During a blackout the hotel still had power unlike many others so we could get aircon thankfully.
    The property is very underwhelming from whats seen on the photos and the price. The entire property is damp, smelly, and tired with large parts of the resort unfinished. The location is so far away from literally anything else and the shuttle service is not regular enough and doesnt give the ability to just hop on. The beach is the windy side of the island so not a nice relaxing place to sit compared to white beach. The pool looks great on the photos but theres 4 sun loungers to share between about 500 hotel rooms. Theres also only 3 tables at the pool bar so never room to sit nor a good atmosphere. We booked this hotel because the reviews all said book here if you dont like to party but the hotel is so isolated its not worth it. You can still go to Boracay and stay on white beach if you dont want to be up late, there are plenty of places and lots of nice restaurants to eat at.

    My family and I had a blast!!
    Enjoyed the beach front with less crowd. We just stayed there the whole day to just relax - it's priceless. The breakfast buffet menu change every day so i give it a 2 thumbs up!
    The quality of the sands isn't as fine as the old shore. The location is far from the busy old shore if you plan to avail of other water activities. But if you're going to just chill and avoid the crowd, that is a plus (not a cons). On the other hand, if you will plan your activities ahead, you can book free shuttle to D' Mall for free, which runs every 3 hrs.

    Beautiful hotel, lovely staff would stay again in a heartbeat
    The beach is immaculate, the building is nice and modern we have no complaints. The staff are amazing, Raynor from the beach bar was so lovely nothing was too much! Although it's not in the town we actually liked this and the hotel offers free transfers or you can get a local ride for 300 pesos
    The pool area could have been better, I also would not recommend eating from the local restaurants by the beach as I got awful food poisoning but that isn't the fault of the hotel. A better variety of breakfast options would have been nice too.

    Better to check the hotel amenities everyday if it is in the standard of a four star hotel
    The beach is clean but a little bit far from the hotel, the breakfast is good with a lot to choose
    The bed is smeely, like someone got pee on the bed. The body wash is not enoug for 5 days, they are not checking it regularly. And for a four star hotel the shower dont have enclosure, it only have a curtain which is not good for a four star hotel, and the step when you go out to the terrace is annoying, much better if it dont have the step

    Happy I chose Belmont for my my short holiday vacation.
    I like the location, less crowded and very nice view. The staff were courteous and very helpful too. I will comeback again next time.
