    If you go in winter..make sure you stay in the main house!
    Beuatiful house in a superb setting. Great in the summer..but winter..? Forget it unless you are in the main house - which might be better The host, James, was wonderful...welcoming and hospitable. Although there were no facilities onsite to dine the local pub was brilliant. Breakfast was luscious.
    It was freezing. I can not tell you how cold we were..even James, when he took us to the room at 7p.m commented on how cold it was. However he did not turn the heat up in the room. We thought it might just be cold because they had only just turned the heating on..but when we returned from dinner at the pub it was still freezing. The radiators are set at 16c ..why? We did not realise that we could not change this without contacting the owners, which we did not want to do at 11p.m. We put another layer of clothing on and lay awake all night. The bathroom did not have any heating at all and was an icebox.! I do not know why we were in the 'coach house' or Duke of Orange suite ( think uninsulated garage!) Instead of the main house because really..the accomodation was unfit for winter occupation when the outside temperature was -3c and inside was 16c!

    The room was great, very clean and the bed really comfortable. Host James was really nice and accommodating. Breakfast was superb and a great choice. Fantastic value for money all round.
    Only slight problem was that the shower head kept sliding down after tightening so hard to set properly for a good wash if you are tall etc.

    Lovely looking house. Nice room with comfy bed. Nice breakfast.
    Very cold and water not very hot. But to be fair was told the boiler was down and no engineer for 2 weeks. So should of been discounted really. Four steps down to the house were covered in snow when we left in the morning which I do think should of been cleared.

    Beautiful stay
    Absolutely fantastic stay. Chose this place as it wasn't far from the venue we needed to be at, and it was perfect. William of orange room was stunning and well decorated and the bed was so comfortable. The tea and coffee selection was really nice and just a beautiful location to be in. Owners were really wonderful and the cooked breakfasts, was the best I've had in years!
