I was in the main building, Lovely room, lots of space and a nice bathroom with all toiletries. Definitely will stay here again.
Separate building for breakfast but you get over that quickly.

Three mornings in a row they ran out of food.
Only had yogurt and oatmeal left.
The tub was clogged the whole time we were there.
There was a awful smell in the room.

everything! this place made our first time in Washington a trip to remember. from free coffee and hot cocoa bar to bikes this is rhe place to stay. breakfast was included and reasonable. everything seemed to be in walking distance too. the staff was a lovely bonus. very knowledgeable and helpful.

No, just don't there's nicer for less
The location was good, however it stopped there.
The bathroom was dirty. Dirt rings on the bottom of the tub and very noticeable dirt rings around the tub. Stains on the sheets, slept on top of covers, the door kept on locking us out even after being rekeyed. The breakfast was nasty and bland. No eggs, no sausage when we came down no intentions on replenishment at all. The juice machine was broken so unless you like apple juice and orange juice I hope you like coffee. Just No, we thought the hotel looked nice until we went to the second building. Got through the doors to have electric doors squeal at us. Got locked out of the room multiple times with keys that worked and was charged multiple times for the initial stay of $316. And they charge a resort fee without any proper amenities no just no. I have stayed in nicer hotels for a lot less and the shower water smells like mildew and mold.

The location is perfect for visiting DC. Its clean and has super friendly and helpful staff!
The property was in a great location. Its close to restaurants, entertainment and attractions. Every single staff member was super friendly, especially Ivan, who took care of us when we arrived! I honestly can not say enough good things about this hotel!

Capitol Hill Hotel excellent location and well priced
Location was fantastic and the staff especially Robert was fantastic
Not enough toiletries for two people and the breakfast room and staff need a lot of improvement. The breakfast offering as well as the breakfast room which is a few doors away needs a good freshen up as the interior is shabby and from a hygiene perspective it should be maintained and money invested to keep it fresh and clean and not dated and broken and chipped.
