    Great location!!
    We arrived after dark for our 1 night stay and the power was out due to a planned power outage by the City of Carlsbad. Unfortunately, we were not notified prior to our arrival otherwise we would have stayed elsewhere. (I booked earlier that day). No lights, tv, hot tub or ability to charge phones after a full day of travel was disappointing.

    Convenient, family destination with comfortable conveniences on property
    Location, location, location. Lots of food and drink options. Cafe Elysa across the street is the perfect, homemade, quick breakfast. Lots of food options walkable. Little corner market across the street. Walk to the beach. CLEAN ROOMS AND COMFORTABLE BED with ample size kitchen and plenty of hot water in a nice shower. Perfect pool and courtyard area to do work while staring at the ocean. If only this was my office everyday!
    Bad luck is we caught a roof remodel. But maintenance was great on the property and plenty of safety signs.

    The orange cone in front of our room and the sewer smell when taking a shower and running the sink. Train kept us up.
