    Location was excellent although facilities can be improved.
    Steam/sauna room was excellent . Welcoming staff specially the breakfast staff. Location is walking distance from the train station, supermarket, and harder kulm funicular.
    The first room assigned to us was in the older part of the hotel and had a plumbing smell coming from the toilet. We were immediately transferred to a different room albeit a little smaller. There is a coffee machine but no kettle for making tea and the fridge isnt really doing what it should be doing.

    Superb view from the balcony very close to Lake and railway station friendly staff nice breakfast being able to have breakfast outside in garden
    it was expensive apparent poor communication of staff concerning prior special request: despite booking a superior room, we arrived to find we had been moved from our promised room the day before

    Overall a decent hotel, but not for the price. We paid over $600 usd for one night and expected much more. Id rate this
    Close to train station, clean and comfortable beds.
    When we arrived they could not locate our reservation. They eventually found it and offered us a welcome drink for the inconvenience, which was very nice. Thankfully they had rooms available or we may have had a problem. We had a nice size suite, with an kitchenette. While it was not expected, we assumed we could use it to cook dinner. We were not aware that we had to pay an additional 150 CHF to turn it on, until we bought food we could not cook and just threw it away. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

    Absolutely amazing - food, bed, cleanliness and location!
    Breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were very cozy. Only 3 min from the train station walking, which was an added bonus.
    Check in was only at 4 which was pretty late, would have liked it to be at a normal time (1-2pm) but staff was accommodating.

    Staff are very professional and nice! Room does not worth its price.
    The location is great and very close to the station. All staffs I encountered were very friendly and nice.
    I would like to rate high because of the service and staff. Unfortunately, the room was not great (actually it was quite badly equipped)

    Wonderful Swiss Experience
    The whole experience was perfect. The staff so attentive, the room spacious and hotel so well situated for the station. It was a pleasure to stay and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for that authentic Swiss experience. Thank you so much Mark & Leigh Australia

    Nice hotel, easy to walk to shopping and train.
    It was very close to the train station - an easy walk. The staff was friendly.
    Our room wasnt ready until about 4:30. The breakfast buffet was set up for the tour groups. There were only a couple of tables that were for other guests. Breakfast felt rushed and uncomfortable.

    Great location and breakfast!
    They welcomed us with cold mint tea that was delicious and refreshing. The pool pond was fantastic as it was very hot the days we were there. The breakfast had lots of options and was all very good.
    There is no air conditioning. Which wouldn't have been a problem except the days we happened to be there were the hottest of the year. Not the hotel's fault, of course. They did provide fans.
