Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa provides phenomenal service and amenities for pets. The rooms are clean, fashionably decorated, and some have fireplaces. The hotel is in a prime location for easy acce (Read More)ss to downtown and the wharf. Some downsides include worn-out beds, limited natural light in certain rooms, and small room sizes. The attached restaurant serves delicious food and has a great bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it is a clean and dog-friendly hotel with good location.

It is always clean. It has a nice and delicious restaurant on the premises if you dont want to leave. Otherwise its close enough to walk to downtown and fishermens wharf.

This was our second stay at Casa Munras and we will quite likely return as the location is great and the rooms are nice. We splashed out on the King suite this year which was cool but...see below.

Parking was $17/night. I don't recall a parking fee last year and given the amount of parking available, I'm pretty bummed to have had to pay that on top of everything. I can't quite figure out the room situation. Last year we booked a standard king room and our friends did as well. Our room was tiny with only a small bathroom and not much room around the bed. Our friend's room, by contrast, was huge (literally 3+ times the size). We were told that it's because we were in an older building. In an effort to have a bit more room, this year we splurged and booked a King Suite which was significantly more expensive, yet seemed to be about the same size as our friend's "standard" king room. The bathroom was amazing, but there's no way we're going to pay that much again...we just want the decent-sized normal King room. The hot water was laughable...we got about 5 minutes before it was all but gone which obviously isn't enough for two people to shower. To my knowledge, there's no elevator to the second floor where the suites are. We're young enough that this isn't normally an issue, but I had a torn meniscus and carrying the luggage up and down the stairs was a nightmare. Finally, the suites are next to the hotel's office and it was a bit noisy. Normally not an issue, but still.
