The Holiday Inn Express Monterey - Cannery Row provides a pleasant stay with its convenient location near the cannery row and ocean view rooms. Guests enjoyed the continental breakfast with a variety (Read More) of options. The parking in a garage was a plus, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel is within walking distance of Main Street, the aquarium, the beach, Pacific Grove, and downtown Monterey. Overall, a good stay with nice rooms and decent food.

Need some renovations for the rooms and restrooms

The staffs were very nice. The location was great. The parking was free.

The room seems old and needs some more renovation. Our room was beside the stree. In the night was noisy by the motor sound from the street.

Look at other options

The breakfast was good and when we checked out the staff on seemed much better.

Not the best experience, the hotel was noisy, the staff on arrive seemed rude. I was expecting a better experience, cleanliness and attitude.

Great location and less driving to get to all attractions. Walking friendly hotel

Its location is unbeatable, smack in the middle to Cannery Row Aquarium and fancy seafood restaurants and Old Fisherman Wharf. We even walked to downtown Alvarado street to visit Alvarado Beer Brewery which is a must if you like craft beer and succulent food options. There is a pedestrian walk path near the hotel giving easy access to all attractions.Ample parking which is a plus and continental breakfast .

Some rooms requires climbing stairs , slight inconvenience if you have huge luggage. But we managed to make our way.If youre staying on the bottom floor it can get a little noisy from occupants upstairs especially when they shut the door or foot thumping. The walls arent sound proof.
