TO AVOID AT ALL COST !
This is the third hotel we stayed at, and didnt have much choice as we planned it last minute and cant express how bad this place, nothing was good from the food, the room, the hygiene, the staff, its was just terrible.
To start off, I got FOOD POISONING after eating one first meal upon checking in at their lodge. I started having high fever about 8 hours after lunch, started vomiting, had diarrhea, muscle weakness, etc. I spent the whole night with fever and shivering. The next day I had to get a doctor as we thought it was malaria but it wasnt. Thats how we wasted three days of our trip and cancelled our excursions.
Food quality and service were absolute disasters too. There are countless experiences here, to sum it up, they are extremely slow, quality is bad, even the manager admitted having food poisoning. While I was sick, I tried to eat something out of their menu, so I went for French fries and a juice. It took them more than 1 hour to prepare the food.
We got the junior suit to have a living room, and ALL FURNITURES ARE DIRTY AND SMELL DAMP. Even the curtains are disgusting and the mosquito net covering the bed isnt even big enough to cover it and it has holes in it, so we had cockroaches and mosquitos inside.
The shower was broken, rain shower was flushing water on the wall and the hand shower was not functioning as the water was leaking from the faucet part when switching to hand shower.
On top of that, we had no water. When we complained about it they said they were going to turn it on and we had to wait 15-20min. So basically they just decided they were cutting hot water in our suite for no reason !? Well exactly. Because next time we went for a shower we didnt have hot water again and had to request it again. Absolutely unbelievable !
The charged us 24 dollars of infrastructure tax even though the page says its $1 per person per day, so we should have paid 6.
