    Could have been good, but Management issues everywhere
    The hotel was ok! It aged not well even they claimed its renovated. You can see it everywhere. Beach was ok! Almost alone next to a river with a lot of garbage. (hotel said its not their property so they dont clean).
    The cleaningness! It was clean, BUT in the room mold everywhere. In the shower, hot tube and the facets. The worst was the black AC. After approaching the Management they promised to fix the issues. After another and another remainder they cleaned at least the AC. Central! You can hear the train, even in the soundproofed room as claimed. Couldnt upload more pictures, but balcony door sealing/ doors in general broken too

    The hotel sits on a quiet beach front bay, and the food was exceptional. Staff were very friendly, and the cocktails were amazing. The room size was good
    The glass sliding balcony door came off its runners when I opened it. Fortunately, i managed to stop it falling, whilst my friend called the front desk, who sent maintenance to fix it. I could see there was a lot of corrosion on the framework. I was disappointed that no manager came to apologise about the incident. As this could have been an extremely serious accident. Even upon check out, still no mention of the door from the front desk. Poor management skills!

    Lovely views of ocean, great kitchen staff.
    Rain shower was great. Its located right on the beach which is lovely. Food was very nice (I had half board). Staff were friendly and excellent in hospitality and ensuring all was well with my stay.
    Reception staff asked me to verify my credit card details for some random bogus charge when everything had already been paid in full. It was very suspect and I didnt appreciate this.

    We would like the inside of the room. It was nice and comfortable suite but the jacuzzi wasnt clean. They took care of the jacuzzi and cleanse after our announce. However The staff was really friendly and helpful. We didnt enjoy a a lot the sea because next to the hotel was a small river that makes a bad smell when it rain.

    A great place - would recommend the pool room!
    We had a pool room and it didnt disappoint. The pool was bigger than expected with gorgeous views - worth the extra money. The whole room was nicely finished and really comfortable, with lots of space. Location is good - Its around 800 LKR to get into Unawatuna (about 5 minutes max) and 1000 LKR to get into Galle (15 minutes max). The staff were so lovely too, really made the trip enjoyable - for $25 you can also get an hour long full body massage in your room, a really nice touch.
    Breakfast is a set menu which was a little disappointing so Id maybe book without and head into Unawatuna as there are so many options there.
