    Lovely Hotel to Chill
    The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The food was tasty and well presented when I asked for room service. My room was comfortable and quiet as it was on the top floor with just one other room on the same landing. The grounds were gorgeous and the original part of the manor house was very attractive from the outside.
    I think that the food, especially the bar meals, were quite expensive.

    Lovely hotel, needs a bit of TLC
    Staff were friendly, breakfast was good
    Paid extra for a Junior Suite, the room was very dated. The roof had mould on it and the paper was peeling away. Cobwebs on the windows / doors.

    Im not sure since its been taken iver by Best Western but not the best stay weve had here.
    We have stayed in this hotel for the past 6 years everytime we visit Chester. Its a great location and lovely area.
    This was the first time we felt meh with the stay. The bath tap didnt work, the tv didnt have BBC to watch NYE fireworks, it also showed options for casting your device but didnt work. Also the hotel bar was shut due to a wedding and for NYE i think thats very poor. We should have been told about this when booking.

    Good first stay room bit cold poor lighing in room. Bit dirty hairs in shower and bed not made tidy idealy needed big mirrior in room also

    Lovely pool and good gym. Nice restaurant with good food. Great breakfast.
    No mugs in our room for drinks. Had to ask twice at reception before they arrived. The shower was only a trickle.Disappointing. We weren't informed that the spa was opening later on New Years Eve. Information in the room said 7am Sundays. When we complained at Reception we were told it's always 9am on Sundays, which was clearly untrue. Breakfast finished at 10 am, so very little time to use the facilities before breakfast. Just wish we'd known in advance.
