A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb

The rooms are rather snug, which I didn't fully appreciate until I arrived. Not an issue as I was travelling alone but something to bear in mind. Rooms are probably a typical size for this age of building.

Great place to stay, highly recommended!

Owners are very approachable, helpful and polite. Breakfast is very good. Toiletries nice. Towels were nice, fluffy and not smelling of bleach. Bed was comfy. Grand location,close to everything. We will be coming back. Free car park. Good internet connection.

Excellent hosts who helped us enjoy a memorable stay in our favourite town in the Lakes.

Ideal location in the heart of Ambleside, on-site parking, comfortable bed and breakfast was ample. Perfect hosting from Sarah who was attentive and lifted the spirits for what was a very wet weekend in the Lakes.

Difficult to pick fault with anything. So I won't try to.

Fantastic location, friendly and very helpful owners. Great breakfast. Would recommend. Great view from the room.

Stayed in room 4. Bed smaller than used to and extremely small bathroom.

the owners were very accommodating , nothing was to much trouble , made us both very welcome, The breakfast was spot on very nice indeed. bed was really comfortable. just an all round great experience.
