I enjoyed the pool & hot tub very much. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The Library Bar was wonderful - food and service excellent.
It seemed that there should have been complimentary bottled water and there wasnt. The box spring cover was ragged & torn. It would have been helpful having directions for the Nespresso machine.

Hoghlight was the excellent meal and service in the Reign restaurant.
Good location, interesting history.
The hotel room provides nothing that is not available at a much less expensive hotel, and does not include free wifi in rooms which most other hotels provide.

Location
No flippers despite 5 stars. Worse was we put sign to change dirty shears and never cleaned it. We also ask them for spoon fork knige to eat our food. Only brought us one fork in wood that we couldnt cut anything. Not what you expect from a five star hotel.

Disappointing
It looks nice but looks can be deceiving.
The bed and valet were great!
The shower in my room was still dirty it had hair from last visitor. Then when I ordered food from downstairs they messed my order up and sent half of it then the other half an hour later. I had to make a complaint to get it removed from my bill any 5 star hotel with any decency wouldve know to do that without me complaining. The hotel is nice and has the appearance of a 5 star hotel but you get treated as if youre in a motel 6. I took my fianc there for our first new years together and she was not pleased. Her eyes lit up when she seen the hotel and a stay in a place like that should be memorable but not in a bad way. It is very sad for such a nice looking place to be going the way it is. I dont expect anything to come of this but felt the need to leave a review for other people so you can know what to expect in your stay after paying so much for a room.

Our stay surprisingly lagical and exciting.
It was extravagant, historical and across the street from union station. The room actually had delicious coffee.
The elevators were a little confusing, but that could just be due to the fact that we are from Peterborough.
