    Swimming pool was nice
    Advertised as 5* and no way near that standard. WiFi didnt work properly but I was able to get 4G on my phone instead. Staff very mediocre compared to other locations. Slow service. Food not great, buffet style and things ran out and werent replaced (like breakfast juices etc)

    Not 5 stars and definitely not 9 rating !!
    Room, toilet and balcony are small. Not so clean room as bed sheets and toilet were smelling bad. We stayed for 2 nights during NYE, at night it was raining and windy with loud noises from the wind that felt like about to take off the roof of the room also the balcony door and room door were shaking loud all night and about to break. The only OK thing about this hotel is the staff
    The location is horrible, on top of hills with narrow and risky bumpy roads. our driver lost the way to the hotel 3 times during the 2 nights. Google maps are not accurate and would lead to nothing and you would need to call the hotel many times for directions. Also needs really good car with good engine otherwise be prepared to walk your way up!

    Gorgeous hotel in the surrounding hills of Kandy
    The hotel was stunning and exceptional in decor and landscaping. The rooms were very good and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area and views overlooking the mountains are calm, serene and welcoming. The staff were professional, incredibly helpful and kind.
    The restaurant, in particular it's buffet style detracted from an otherwise luxurious, boutique feeling. They could change the lighting, make it a la carte and upgrade the tables to make it consistent with the standard of the hotel itself. They should also invest in a proper espresso machine. Whilst espresso coffee seems less sought after by locals, foreign clientele seem to ask for it alot and the quality of the espresso was passable. That said, the food cooked by the chef on the kottu table as part of the buffet was the best we had in Sri Lanka.

    Lovely Hotel!
    The hotel was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The views surrounding the hotel were exceptional! The staff were so helpful and attentive, providing us with answers to any questions we may have and greeting us with a nice tea upon arrival.
    The only negative was the location, it was quite far out from the centre of Kandy, however this is not something the hotel can fix!!

    Wonderful room with an awesome view.
    Hilltop location - excellent views - small but nice pool. Wonderful friendly professional staff. Clean rooms
    Instant coffee in the room was a bit of a let down. For the price of the room I would have expected more in terms of complimentary elements to the rooms. Dinner buffet is seriously overpriced for Sri Lanka.
