Location and to say that I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt

Festive seasons not many activities hotel could have been more organised to have more for kids activities. Overrated for what you pay parking should have been complimentary or at least at discounted rates. The average food selection could have been a lot better during festive seasons as we were there for 9 days for Christmas in New years. Swimming pool hours should be extended till 10:00 p.m. Laundry service should have been provided complimentary by the hotel.

A fantastic hotel, ideally located, excellent quality amenities. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Excellent location - right in the center of Melbourne CBD. Walking distance to many landmarks. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. The bathrooms are stunning, with thick good quality towels (you see less and less of those). Breakfast was fabulous. We arrived early and were able to check into our room immediately which was a lovely surprise.

Valet parking was a bit steep - AUD 90 for 24 hours and the swimming pool was disappointing compared the luxurious feel of the rest of the hotel. But those are details that did not change the marvellous experience we had at the hotel!

So comfortable and the best breaky ever!

The breakfast was exceptional. I would stay here again just for the breakfast! Impeccable service and choice. Our beds and pillows were so comfortable. I also loved the location with Chin Chin, Lune, Culture Kings, Hosier Lane, Flinders Station, free trams and Bourke St shopping all so close and easy to walk to.

We could hear the plumbing from the other rooms at night - could tell when next door/upstairs were running a bath or having a shower, quite high pitched.

Delightful stay at the Grand Hyatt

Our room at the top floor (33rd) was beautiful and well appointed. Also appreciated the generous welcome amenity as well as complimentary sparkling wine gift for the New year. Housekeeping, reception and club lounge staff were all excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Club Lounge was a bit too full for New Years Eve pre-dinner.

Despite paying for a king bed, we were greeted by two single beds which were not adjoined and thus creating a large gap in between the beds. In addition, there was a third single bed in the room which highly reduced the amount of space in the room - thankfully, we only stayed the one evening.
