    The location and the view were fabulous. The decor was amazing and the welcome gifts were really appreciated. The host was also very nice and welcoming.
    The access road was a bit tricky as we arrived during the night but the more we did it the easier it got ;-)

    It was a wonderful experience! The jungle cottage opens a window to the fascinating world of nature. The views are breathtaking, field with lush greenery, exocit plants, and wildlife. The host ensures comfort and hospitality, making the stay even more magical. The cottage was amazing and very comfortable, we could completely chill out after a long days of sightseeing. I recommend this place to everyone, I trurly hope we will come back here one day :).

We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Raymond, the owner, and felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The cottage's rustic elegance and attention to detail impressed us. It felt like a home away from home, with modern amenities ensuring a comfortable stay. The well-maintained garden and outdoor seating area added to the peaceful atmosphere. In summary, Green Cottage Chamarel is a hidden gem perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. Our experience was fantastic, and we look forward to visiting again. 5 stars!

    Splendid views down over valley of Chamarel
    Incredibly beautiful view from terrace and living. A small hitch with the shower was fixed in 10 minutes. Many original touches in the house. I loved it.
    You definitely need mosquito repellent outside at certain hours. No curtain between bedroom and bathroom.

    Words (and pictures) cannot explain how beautiful this place is, everything is super well maintained and the cottage was spacious and had eveything we needed from wine opener and an oven to high quality shower soaps. Raymond (the owner) was very friendly and helpful, he explained everything we had to know about the house and the surrounding and even gave us permission to pick some Papayas from the property papaya plantation which were great addition for our breakfast and a morning adventure for the kids :)

    The View!
    The place is amazing. The access is well marked, although the end is on a dirt road, we had no problem finding the house. The view is really great, the house has everything you need - the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the view from the bedroom is first class. The host very thoroughly explained all issues related to the stay, told about the nearby attractions, etc. The grounds belonging to the house are beautiful and in themselves suitable for a walk. The internet worked flawlessly, you could watch a series on Netflix in the evening. Definitely our best accommodation we had in Mauritius.
