As soon as we walked in the lobby it smelt wonderful. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel really special by just about every member of staff at the hotel. The hotel room was really big for just the standard room. The bed was amazing and i don't think i have slept so well in such a long time.
The level of service in all of the restaurants was exceptional and the food and beverages was such a high standard.

Service levels very high in glamorous setting. The sharing of facilities with Le Royal Meridian makes all the difference.
The staff in Bar Bhudda are pressurising you to upsell presumably for commission. I did not appreciate this, so reflected it in my tip. They had the audacity to come back to me to query my tip!

Its a nice looking property with all amenities
Service can be better and more prompt. Calling housekeeping or laundry or maintenance and having them come took forever. We once had laundry services coming without pos and not having card services overnight.
The bathroom door and veranda door got locked two times and had to be fixed by maintenance which was also a bummer.
What was great was meeting the duty manager on our check out, who listened to our concerns and actually refunded a nights stay. That was exceptional.
