    Great place to stay, but be aware of the nonrefundable pet deposit.
    Great property, close to beach, clean room, nice staff, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
    The property is great. The issue I have is with booking online. It should be clearly indicated that there is a non-refundable deposit for pets. The booking site indicates: Pets are allowed on request. Charges may apply. Instead it should state there is a non-refundable deposit per pet. We did not know of this charge until we checked in, and with a nonrefundable booking, we had no option then to pay the pet deposit. You may have happier pet owners if they know about this extra cost upfront. Not fair for the desk staff to have to deliver the news.

    the room was stinking with mildew, the front office offered a change of room but that was having same smell. the hotel needs a serious renovation as it is rotten

    The breakfast was fine. There was a nice selection, plenty of places to sit and eat. The kitchen employees kept replenishing the containers of food and accessories. Everyone had plenty to eat.

    Nice location with super staff. Needs a good cleaning.
    The staff at the front desk was very nice and tried to be helpful.
    There was a terrible smell in our room. We did inform the front desk and they offered to bring maintenance in to look at it but it dissipated a bit after having been there for a bit. We left to attend a wedding and when we can back late that night the smell was even worse. So much so that we could not stay that night and left to drive home. Very disappointed.

    A good second choice, but room for improvement
    The staff were great and helpful (even if they did not always know how to advise on restaurants or things to try in the area, not being exactly local). The breakfast was great. The facilities seemed good, the internet strong, and the decorations (fall themed) were cute. Nice to have cookies, coffee, and fresh fruit in abundance. I liked the kiddie corner, even if I don't have kids. Nice amenities in the bathroom.
    The claustrophobic feel of the hallways (narrow, low ceilings, dark) and the slight dinginess of the room. The carpet in the room had seen better days, and there was mold/dirt on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom. The shower curtain had stains, which made taking a shower unappealing. The location is not bad for a last resort, but it's neither right at the beach, nor right in town.
