From reception, pool area and room service, we were met with great coutsey and professionalism. Room and bathrooms were both excellent, spacious well furnished
very quick response on calling for any assistance.
The only improvement required is training of assistants in breakfast area.

I Feel Cheated by the Hotel & Booking.com
The room was as expected as was the hotel location - I had stayed at the hotel when it was a Hilton circa 20 times.
Lots - as a start the text on the site talks of restaurants, The Lounge Butlers an upgrade package that I tried, a rooftop area with snacks etc but nowhere does it state clearly it is A DRY HOTEL i.e. no alcohol can be bought on the property or consumed other than in your room - assuming you have some! On day 1 I went to the breakfast area for some milk to have with my tea - not possible the Dubai laws prohibit it, this was eventually reversed with a manager but really should that even of happened. I used room service and added a deposit to cover any charges as my accommodation was fully pre paid, however on check out the staff were unable to reconcile my deposit with the final amount due, so I was asked to pay in full & they would refund the deposit. That never happened & I used both the online contact form & also the email address from the website but no reply - indeed Booking.com have not been any better with sub-standard or non existent customer service & that matter is now being resolved by a company properly, namely American Express. There are then some Q's - 1. Would I have gone there knowing it was dry NO 2. Would I go there again? NO 3. Would I use Booking.com again? No despite having used them a great many times before - anyone can appear good when all is going to plan, now when not, Booking.com are nowhere to be seen. On the day of my call I was told I would be called back at midday - no call all ever since a couple of emails along the lines of - how are things going with your issue? but the email comes from a "no reply email" - quite simply appalling.
The Lounge Butlers is premium upgrade & around around 45 daily. The room is lovely with nice cutlery & white table cloths but .....

We had a wonderful stay in Golden Sands Hotel , always you will get welcome and greeting everywhere from all staff especially from reception team they are ready very professional in their work specially Mr. Khalil he was very helpful during check in and he give us good room with nice view , the rooftop is very beautiful and you can see all creek from up , the good thing that is not far from airport.

It was wonderful hotel, we was have problem with our room reservation but during check-in the receptionist was very helpful and they give us good room , thank you Mr. Khalil for your help , breakfast was great and have a nice choices, im very satisfied with room cleaning :)

The property is well located and easy to access, plus it was clean
The food and breakfast menu is very limited. I saw many Africans suffer to select something to eat; 90% of the time we had to order food / dine at other restaurants
