Despite some issues with the bar service, the Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown offers a pleasant stay with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The location is convenient and within walking distance of (Read More) popular attractions. However, guests were disappointed with the quality and price of the breakfast buffet. Some room complaints include flat pillows and a faulty coffee maker. Overall, the hotel staff was helpful and friendly, although there were concerns about phone call responsiveness.

Basic, corporate hotel

The location seemed excellent, as we were able to walk to a dozen restaurants and Union Station, without having to rely on Uber to get around.

The hotel itself is very basic, almost corporate--it seemed a better place to host a conference, rather than a girls' trip, but at least it was comfortable.

Great location, poor mattress quality.

The location is excellent if you have an event at the Convention Center. Within walking distance of most of the downtown area.

We had a king and sofa bed for a 4 person room. The mattress was less than average and the sofa pullout was like a pancake full of springs and metal bars. Other than the poor quality mattresses, our stay was great.

Enjoyable stay.

Comfortable room, friendly staff (particularly Territory Restaurant and Bar), easy access to garage, great food (no powdered eggs for this hotel!), quiet.

Not really the property per se, rather a suggestion for hotel staff to inform guests when an event like The Parade of Lights is occurring that blocked off access to the hotel. Knowing that ahead of time would have altered plans to leave the hotel late in the afternoon. It took almost two hours of driving through grid-locked Denver before pleading with Denver Police to assist removing barriers x5 to get to the hotel. Stressful and frustrating!

Overall, a good place to stay with a warm staff and excellent location.

the location was perfect, the rooms were exactly as described online, the place was clean and easy to find. Upon my arrival, I asked about parking and the gentleman offered to give me and my fiance day rate parking instead of overnight and ended up saying us almost $100! That was so kind and not expected, really great customer service. The housekeeping man was incredible kind as well, he used goof translate so that we could communicate, it made my whole day.

one water bottle should not cost $3 in the hotel room, that is crazy! also parking is a bit high.. there was a large homeless population outside of the property which was not the most pleasant. also the cover for the duvet could not be more uncomfortable 0/10

The location and the staff was very nice

Our bedding was changed and we noticed that there was blood on the sheets but we didnt notice last night when we got in bed, we saw it this morning and neither one of us had a cut or anything, but thought it was to late to let the front desk know because we didnt notice when we went to bed.

Staff helpful. Rooms clean. Coffee/tea available. Parking on site but cant get in to it without room key so no where to unload. Made it so we had to park off property. Grab/go food to purchase with sit down options.

Parking is awful. No where to unload bags, found out later could pull over in the valet area for 10 minutes. No staff outside to assist with arrival. Had to park off site as we could not get into the guest parking area.

Good stay, with some minor issues

Nice lobby Room temperature was perfect Good location, 2 blocks from 16th St

The only entrance is like in an alley, dirty. Spilled coffee in the lobby that nobody cleaned. Bed pillows are not comfortable. Room bathroom a bit old. No safe box in room. The little cafe connected to the lobby was always closed. Restaurant supposedly served lunch at 11 but when we try to go on Tuesday it was closed. No scale in the fitness center. Restrooms in lobby cannot be used once you returned your key (we were waiting for Uber, just after checkout)
