    The staff who helped us move rooms and the delightful breakfast staff made up for any trouble.
    The breakfast staff was phenomenal.
    Our first room had shades that could not be opened. We were given a different room. Then we discovered that the refrigerator in our room was enclosed in a cupboard and made it feel unsafe because it was very warm. It needed ventilation so we had to keep the cupboard door open.

    Great Shopping and Sightseeing in Williamsburg
    The location is perfect. Close to many excellent restaurants and shops. You can easily drive to Colonial Williamsburg in five minutes. The facilities are clean and the bed was comfortable. The building itself could use an update, especially the bathrooms.
    The bathrooms should be updated. You can tell that they are old.

    A great place to stay with a great staff.
    The staff was outstanding. Very helpful and friendly, especially the front desk and breakfast crew. Look forward to returning in December.
    We needed a walk-in shower due to my wife being physically handicapped and eventually the front desk made it happen. However, the remote controlled blinds in the room did not work. Otherwise a nice stay with a great breakfast.

    Great location. Staff was very nice, personable and accommodating.
    An exhaust fan was needed in the bathroom.

    You gotta stay somewhere
    Honestly nothing. I've seen this hotel going from great to bad.
    No refrigerator in the room which booking.com advertise as having one. The pool was not cleaned and properly maintained, it had too much bleach which you could smell and taste. Ice machines gave out ice with contaminents from being dirty on the inside. A/C unit had a access cover that kept on coming lose, it could not be properly secured
