Perfect all round
Firstly the staff are amazing. They will go above and beyond for you, smiles on faces and great attitudes. We couldn't make our first night here due to trains being cancelled from storms, the staff manager managed to change our days for the following day once we arrived. As I said staff are amazing.
The room was cleaned thoroughly, the bed, what can I say.... "it's huge" so comfortable. Our heating wasn't working properly so staff set up radiators in our room on arrival. It was perfect.
The food was absolutely beautiful and flavoursome, just 1 thing on the menu that we didn't like (bacon chop that is way too salty) but everything else was perfect.

The lifts were unpredictable but there are stairs for those that are able to use them. The bacon chop on the dinner menu was far too salty, needs to be less salt or can cause a lot of issues particularly for someone with high blood pressure. Other than that there are no other issues with the hotel

Hotel seemed a little shabby, work seemed to be going on in various areas and the stairway up to the different floors was absolutely awful

Good location and cozy room
Location is very good. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. However, I used booking.com chat a few times before my stay and never received a reply (they never answered my questions, just sent me ADs). However, Staffs at the front desk were kind and helpful.
As I wrote above, they do not communicate in chat.

We had executive room with balcony as my son is disabled he enjoyed sitting all wrapped up watching the world go by and looking at the sea . Great room and mini bar included in the price
