    Great little find in Jaipur
The hotel is perfectly located near Chandpole Gate and the staff and ambience are absolutely excellent. Couldn't have wished for a more welcoming vibe. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable too! Great value for money overall.
There were mould stains in the room and the furnishings were a little stained and old. The toilet didn't flush properly.

Brilliant stay, will love to go back again.
Rich heritage throughout the property, takes you back in time. The rooms are spacious unlike modern hotels, most of the bathrooms are getting renovated and we had the privilege of staying in one of these rooms. Finally the staff is super nice and makes your stay very special.
The place is slowly opening up after the pandemic so some shortcomings are understandable. Just one simple recommendation for the management - since old Jaipur is quite dusty, it will be helpful if floors and corridors are mopped well everyday to avoid the dust as much as possible.

    The building was amazing.
The area outside the hotel grounds wasn't the nicest. A few of the staff were rude.

In general a nice stay if you lower expectations
The heritage building is really pretty and its a small quiet oasis next to the crowded old town. Good selection for breakfast and delicious dinner.
Overall it needs to be taken care of more. Especially the bathroom did not meet the expectations. The pool did not invite for swimming either, but maybe during summer its in better condition. The worst was the library and lounge that was completely moulded and covered in dust. The food was delicious however it took every time more than one hour. We had to get the menu and even our suitcases by ourselves. The staff in general was not very friendly.

Very nice stay in historic place
A historic building which is really nice. A bit of reconditioning would be suitable. Staff is really friendly and eager to help you.
WiFi signal was not the best.

Full of charm and friendly staff
We loved our 3 day stay here over Christmas. The building itself is beautiful, with lots of cosy spaces to sit and relax. You could spend hours looking at all the paintings and artefacts dotted around. Our room was very well presented and clean. Its a small taster experience of living inside one of the bigger palaces, away from the crowds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always tasty with a variety of options and different every day. Having a drink in one of the old sitting rooms was a highlight. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, which seems maintained for guests all through the year. If youre expecting a new, sparkling hotel experience, this isnt for you. But what it does offer is plenty of charm, history and character. A very special place.
The location doesnt have much to offer, but its easy enough catch a tuktuk or use the hotel taxi. We walked to the City Palace which was a nice 30min stroll through the markets.
