    Quick stop in Florence
    The location is central - walking distance from the center. The room is spacious and the breakfast good enough for an American-Italian couple. Most importantly they have a reception dog so thats BIG bonus.
    The walls and doors are a bit thin so you can hear people in the hallway.

    The staff were the best very welcoming and helpful. The location was great by the US consulate, and next to the river.
    We had a room adjoining another with only a thin door between. The neighbors came home late and were excited and loud and there's nothing wrong with that. But I was sleeping and was woken till wee hours of the night. The hotel was dated and in need of updating.

    Memorable in an entirely positive way.
    An absolute gem. The staff show such pride in the hotels grand tradition. It really felt special, and excellent value.
    The building is creaking a little around the edges, but that only adds to the charm.
