The Hotel Tybee provided a great experience for a group staying for a soccer tournament. The staff was friendly and helpful, accommodating last-minute requests for an extra room. The rooms were neat, (Read More) spacious, and had comfortable beds and soft linens. The hotel's location was convenient, being close to various restaurants. Some minor cleanliness issues and outdated rooms were mentioned, but overall, the view, tiki bar, and pricing made for a positive stay.

That the hotel was on the beach
The rooms needed updated, the bathroom door hinges were rusted, there was no shower curtain on the shower, the hand soap and body wash weren't in there, I was told they were out and the coffee was terrible

Disappointing
The staff were very friendly, however the hotel itself is overpriced. The hotel was not clean and needed to be updated.
The location
The rooms were dated and needed to be refurbished - room was not clean, floors were nasty and very dirty under the AC. Only had one towel in the bathroom.

nice people at the reception..very attentive staff....my room was already ready when I arrived( including special requests).nice .Ocean view..strong wifi( about 160meg in my room)..not bad at all for a small island..We were 4 and I requested an extra twin bed for 25$ and I did like it...everything we need was in the room..
With a little TLC this place could be perfect..it has been raining from the day we arrived until we left..so we couldn't enjoy the beach...

I highly recommend
Location was Great! It was just a short walk to the beach and the view was amazing.
The only downfall to our entire stay was the concert that was happing in the parking lot of the condo. My advice would be to check for events before making your reservation. Besides the concert it was great!

Extremely disappointed and wont be back.
Location, friendly staff
Bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. There was a nasty smell in the bathroom too. Box springs was broken or damaged and was very loud when getting in and out of bed or shifting sleeping positions. Room wasnt really decorated. Walls were thin and you could hear the tv from the room next to us.

The location was perfect. Within walking distance of mostly everything
Some things felt a little dirty. The trash can by the front entrance to get to the elevators was overflowing the entire weekend. Trash was piled so high with bags of trash all around it. Room was good. Bed was very comfy.
