so we went there thorough booking.com, we had 3 night stay in the houseboat,
on 1st day we reached at ghat no.13 from where the shikara supposed to be take us on houseboat, we'd been asked to have dinner at 6:30 pm as the shikara wala leave early, we said its ok we will have dinner in the house boat as its too early for us and we are all tired enough to go anywhere, so yea the houseboat doesn't take any responsibility for dropping you and also if you book different shikara then also they will make ruckus out of it.. now come to the services-: their are many hidden charges
1-: you have to pay 400rs 2hrs for room heater this isn't mentioned anywhere in booking details
2-: they will charge you for using their dining room if you think you'll go out and get your own food from outside so keep this in your mind that you will have to pay for table in houseboat!
3-: they have commision in everything like you only have to take shikara ride from their people now other shikara ride.
4-: hot water only available in the morning from 8am onwards to may be 10-11 am
no kettle is there in the room,in winters it's freezing cold in houseboat and it's difficult to stay without heater and hot water services!
5-: now come to the food, we had veg dinner worth rupees 300 per person, we were 4 including a 12yr old kid, we paid 1200 for veg food which was Dal/rice/sabzi and phulka the quantity wasn't enough for 4 person! we were really tired and hungry so we ate their!
ps-: there is a person named MUNIR verryyyyyyy rude and unethical person who doesn't know how to talk to a women he miss behaved with us, so if you are thinking about to book this houseboat think again!
