Service does not match a 4 star hotel, I had to ask twice before I got basics like soap and shampoo filled up. I was unable to take a shower in the morning. The carpet is old and worn. Probably the view is nice on the waterfront is nice, but I had a room looking on the parking lot. Generally not worth the money.

The Gem of the Charles!

Wonderful view of the Charles River, especially rowing on the river, from the 2nd floor restaurant and some hotel rooms. In fact we've booked for Head of the Charles Regatta for October 2024! The walk along the river is terrific!

Would like more dining options (and hours!) on the property.

I've stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge a few times. I love getting a patio and looking out at the river views, people jogging, canoers rowing. It's a wonderful place

I called the front desk to tell them a creepy man rushed into the elevator and approached me asking about what room I was staying in. I was told it was probably the hotel security person. As a single young female MIT employee I would have thought Hyatt would take this seriously. I would advise all MIT femail employees to stay at another hotel
