Amazing stay! Definitely recommend staying here.
It was clean, and you could really relax the moment you stepped into the hotel. My time at Malta wasnt the best due to the bad weather, but staying at Hyatt Regency made everything better.

The heated pool on the rooftop is the highlight. Feels like being in a bath, especially during winter times. The spa treatments, if you end up with the right person, are good.
St Julian's is probably the worst area, if you are not party goer. Definitely not suited for a 5 star hotel. You are surrounded by construction works and buildings with people in front of you. This Hyatt is very overpriced for the lack of 5 star services. We had the feeling it was surfing on the Hyatt's name. Housekeeping only made our room at 4pm and wasn't careful as they took away a bathrobe without checking its pockets' content. Reception was lacking in that regard, too, making us feel like we had made up the entire situation and that they weren't at fault. Luckily, the guest relation manager, after our many complaints, stepped in and helped us further with some compensations, as it should be in a 5 star property. In summary, there are better 5 star properties in Malta for sure and would advise against staying in that particular Hyatt Regency

We had a very pleasent stay at the Hyatt Regency Malta. The staff was amazing and ensured we enjoyed the stay at the hotel. everyone was so kind and helpful and the cleaning staff was terrific who made sure our room was superbly cleaned everyday eventhough we had a toddler with us who made a lot of mess. Special thanks to Victor who was very helpful during our whole stay and gave us good advice on which areas to visit and always welcomed us with a smile at the hotel door after a long day with outings.

Great facilities and room but unfortunately some of the facilities werent really working.
Nice pool and gym. Great breakfast and comfy beds. I asked for a firmer bed and they turned over the mattress which really helped! The staff in general was very friendly too.
Nice facilities but a lot of things werent working like the TV channels and the phone. The room was very hot (25 degrees) even though it wasnt warm outside which meant the AC had to always be on and the windows where locked. We also had to wait around an hour to check in.
