    Very good value for money. Comfy and cheap!
    The beds were very comfortable and the location is south of train station, meaning its slightly quieter! The staff were all lovely and helpful.
    Heating stopped working but they did give us a portable heater!

    The hotel was within 10 minutes walk of shopping area. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. Good value for a money if you want to stay for a night or two.
    The room was very clean, albeit relatively small and basic. Apart from a TV, 5 clothes hangers and two paper cups there was no other facility, not even a kettle to make a cup of tea, though you can ask for hot water and tea from the reception. They are very helpful. There was a hole in the glass door of the bathroom which eliminates any privacy, so that's what you might want to bear in mind if you are staying with a friend. The mattresses were not that comfortable but OK for a night.

    Not bad for a budget option, could be better with small tweaks :)
    The bed was very comfortable and the room was very cosy and warm. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the centre of Cardiff making it accessible for us. The room was cleaned each day. Our daughter loved her bunk-bed :)
    The toilet was very small and did not have a toilet brush. The room needed some shelves for putting clothes and other bits and pieces on. It was difficult to get ready in the mornings and at bed time as we had to live out of our suitcase. One lift was out of service. We had to wait a while to use the lift - we could tell the house keepers were frustrated too as they kept getting stuck with their trolleys on each floor. We were using a buggy for our daughter so we were reliant on the lifts.

    Easy to check in and out and even though the rooms are very basic it was clean.
    The room got very hot during the night and as we were facing the street it was noisy having the window open. The window didn't have a catch to just open a little bit.
