    Unpleasant hotel experience, regrettable choice
    Views from the room and the proximity to Pichola Lake are the only nice things.
    We booked a superior category room i.e. "Jagat Lake facing suit" where we stayed during Dec 2023 for 3 nights, it was one of the top-end rooms of this hotel and the most expensive too due to the season. But to be very honest this hotel was not even close to my expectations due to the following reasons: 1. Late Check-in: We reached the hotel at 2 PM and waited till 2:45 PM in the lobby only because our room was not ready. 2. The moment we entered our room we saw several stain marks here and there and it was evident that the room-service staff were in haste while doing their job. (Pics attached) Reason: The understaffed department had a lot of work to do, but they are good people to deal with. 3. The restaurant staff was very slow and it was not their fault at all. I talked to one of the staff members and he told me that they are highly understaffed and due to a lack of management and cost-cutting activities the hotel is not so keen on keeping more people. 4. Overall top management of the hotel was not good and after having conversations with a few more people, I got to know that none of the management people is actually a graduate hotel management professional. They are just local people managing the hotel and due to this unprofessionalism was clearly reflecting in their problem-handling skills.

    Well, everything about the property was exceptional. Every corner of the hotel has its own unique charm. Talking about the location of this property then its just phenomenal

    Well overpriced - not worth the money paid
    It was clean
    Noisy rooms and not relaxing, the fake green grass throughout the property look fake and tacky. This property is well, well overpriced - reception are good but some restaurant staff need training there is a lot of waiting for drinks and having to order twice - for the amount of money paid I didnt not expect this.

    Fantastic stay! Great location and wonderful staff.
    Location is fabulous, overlooking the lake and walking distance to City Palace, Bagore ki Haweli and Jagdish Temple. Beautiful decor, very tastefully done. Food is quite good. Both the Restaurants (including the Rooftop) have a nice view of the lake. Staff are very helpful and courteous.
    WiFi was not great inside the room. Room slightly small, though well organised.

    Must visit place if you plan a trip to Udaipur
    Property was beautiful, room gave a good feel, restaurant food especially the dinner was great. Sunset view was amazing from rooftop. Staff was courteous. All in all a good decision to stay at the property
    Breakfast options were limited and can be increased with respect to the price being charged

    Wonderful!
    The property is aesthetically decorated. It gives a cozy yet tranquil vibe. The breakfast spread was not grand but manageable. The best part was if the terrace and the restaurant area which had beautifully done seating arrangements beside Lake Pichola. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Would love to book this hotel again in our next trip to Udaipur.
    The food part, spread was very limited.
