This spacious suite comprises 1 living room, 3 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a bath and free toiletries. The air-conditioned suite provides a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a minibar, a tea and coffee maker and executive lounge access. The unit offers 4 beds.
I loved the fact It was in the shopping mall. The proximity to the shops, cinema and wide range of restaurants in the food court.
The Kempinski is a shadow of itself. Sometimes when I read negative comments, I assume maybe the guest was just too fussy!! Well now Im that disappointed guest, now I know how it feels!!! On previous family holidays in Dubai, we had stayed at Raffles, Conrad, The Address, Grosvenor House, Four Seasons, all excellent choices. On this particular trip, We had earlier stayed at the Meydan for Christmas for 6 nights and decided to split our holiday into two. Spending the latter 6 nights at Kempinski over the new year. 5 of us in our group, hubby, my 17 year old daughter, 16 year old son and 12 year old son!! We were super excited to stay. From our check in though, I was disappointed and knew I had made a poor choice. Right from the reception!!!! Other guests in the reviews had praised the hotel for being luxurious/ grand etc!!! Was I at the wrong place??? Everything appeared bug standard!! We booked 2 deluxe suites on the executive lounge floor, 11th floor, you would expect that to be luxurious and all. But the rooms were much smaller than any hotel we have ever stayed in Dubia. Their Deluxe suite feels and looks like a European size type suite. Small. In Dubai, my experience has always been that their rooms are generous and spacious! Not at Kempinski!!!! The room smelt mouldy/ stuffy, I had to ask several times to get an air freshener humidifier installed in my suite so I could stay there! The furniture is basic, Im telling you, nothing luxurious! No fruits, chocolates, biscuits, nothing was ever left in our rooms, the entire 6 nights. Zero personal service. The breakfast service was a sham, our eggs, waffle and pancakes arrived after we had finished our breakfast. This was a daily occurrence at their main restaurant. By day 4, we decided to restrict ourselves to breakfast in the lounge since the main restaurant clearly werent coping well with full service.

It is beautiful, comfortable and the staff is exceptional.
Perhaps a bit far out from old town, but not really. Taxi is reasonably priced, and there is good bus and metro service.

My wife and I highly recommend this hotel which has distinctive and unique characteristics differentiates it from others.The suite was remarkable as well breakfast and location.
I have invited 24 family members for a dinner which surpassed expectations.
