The highlights for me were the facilities (very well decorated and well equipped ), cleanliness and good location.
The room temperature was a bit too cold and the sheets were too narrow for one person.

Locationperfect for exploring all areas of the city. Good breakfast provided and very friendly and helpful staff! Excellent shower in the room and comfortable beds. Also the Nespresso machine in the room was perfect (for me). The fitness room was quite nice as well!
Room (402) was comfortable but much smaller than I expected. Lighting could be better. It was uneven especially around mirrors, creating a shadow on one side.

Understaffed and unprofessional service
The laundry was fast and the balcony was good
The service was terrible. Under staffed and no consistency in policy. It started with food delivery where they said they dont bring the food up but later said that they would do it for 5 euros to simply bring food upstairs. Delivery by Uber eats which required driving was less than that! They say the water is free but when you ask they tell you the water they give you is the same as the tap water. Which is was not. Cleaning was inconsistent I got cleaners who would say theyre done but the trash would still be there and they never vacuum unless you tell them to. The toilet had a glass door so anyone in the room could just see in and for some reason thats normal? This hotel did not meet the expectation of a 4 star hotel let alone 5. Theyre understaffed on Christmas time I cant imagine how it would be normally.

A nice hotel with a boutique feel in walking distance to most of the attractions in Amsterdam.
The property had nice amenities and thoughtful touches, for example, fresh water, wine in the evening and a fireplace. The buffet breakfast was also generous.
